What was the highlight of Edgecliff Lodge Motel
Convenient for me
Definitely seemed better than my last visit.(Nov 22). Handy to Edgecliff train station; I leave my car at the motel (parking is very limited - get there early) and use trains/public transport everywhere. They have new continental breakfast packs that are excellent.

What was the highlight of Edgecliff Lodge Motel
Value for money, good for a 1 night stay
Easy access from train station, although the hill was quite steep. Room was dark late into the morning which helped everyone sleep in. Linen was clean and fresh. Breakfast boxes are a great touch.
Lots of traffic noise through the night. Bathrooms are small and need an exhaust fan to help draw steam out to unfog the mirror, $1700 fine if you leave the bathroom door open and the steam sets the smoke detector off (thankfully didn’t happen but we were thoroughly warned about it).

Location was excellent. I have stayed there once before. It is good no frills accommodation.
